Contributing Journalists

Jack Breagy- Jack is senior at Columbia High School and will be at Elon University of his #next4. Throughout his high school career he played soccer and captained the hockey team as a senior.

Sally Carnevale- Sally is a senior at Columbia High School. She will be attending Tufts University in the fall to study biology. Sally is a Co-Captain of the CHS Special Dance Company.

Chris Donney- Chris is a senior at Columbia High School and is attending Fairfield University as a member of the class of ‘22. Throughout his high school career he played soccer, ran both cross country and track, and was a proud member of the math team. Now he’s a student journalist and is dedicated to show the summerly love.

Chris Holowczak- Almost 6’1”. He’d like to think he’s funny. After this school year he’ll be participating in the City Year program, where he will be volunteering in an East Harlem middle school. He will then attend Syracuse University, where he will be working towards a degree in mathematics education. He plays a variety of instruments, including upright bass/bass guitar, guitar, piano, and drums. He spends his free time playing in bands or petting his cat, Shadow.

Emma Joy- Emma is a senior at Columbia High School and will be attending American University next year to study biology. She is a co-captain of the Columbia High School girls ultimate frisbee team and was also in the cast of this year’s school musical, Hairspray. Emma enjoys going on kayaking trips during the summer.

Nathan Wong- Nathan is a senior at Columbia High School and will be majoring in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech in the fall. He is the Captain of the Math Team at CHS and is an EMT on the South Orange Rescue Squad. Over the summer, he plans to travel and find a job before he leaves for college.
